About the event
This moving documentary of international teamwork in the rescue of a Thai soccer team from a flooded cave will hopefully inspire us to work cooperatively to advance the UN charter goals of peace and security, promotion of human rights, achievement of the UN sustainable development goals, and advocate for constructive US leadership in the UN system.
UNA-USA member Thanet Natisri played an important role in the rescue as a groundwater expert, and was an executive producer of the documentary. Natisri will be present at the screening to speak about his role in the rescue team and answer questions. Natisri is the co-owner of Thai D in Marion, IL along with his wife Yada, as well as a member of American Groundwater Solutions.
